Weird Reason Breakfast is Boring
This morning I was sitting in front of my computer struggling to come up with a catchy title for this. I was thinking - yet again - about stressing the importance of breakfast to you.
So as I sat there trying to be clever I mumbled out loud, “Breakfast is boring.”
And there you have it. That’s exactly how I came up with this title. But do NOT take this message lightly.
You see, I know you’re heard it a million times before. “You have to eat breakfast.” And I know it’s not a super sexy message. But do you have any idea how many people I meet as a fitness professional that DO NOT eat breakfast? A lot. And do you have any idea how many of those people that don’t eat breakfast are overweight? Pretty much all of them.
Look, I’m not crazy. I know you don’t have much time in the morning. And I know many of you just aren’t all that hungry right after you wake up.
So let’s look at this another way. You get up each morning and go to work every day because you want a roof over your head and food on the table, right? Day after day after day you go to work because you want the RESULT of that effort.
Well, IF you want to burn fat, feel better and have more energy you WILL eat breakfast every morning. Period. End of discussion.
Some things are boring. Some things just have to be done to get the result you want. For those of you that want to burn fat all day long, breakfast is just one of those things.

Valentine’s Day Fat Burning Tips
Valentine’s Day is almost here. And there’s a VERY good chance you have plans to eat out that night with your significant other.
And while I want you to have a great time, I do NOT want you to kiss your fat loss goals goodbye. Here are three quick Valentine’s Day Fat Burning Tips to help keep you on track.
1) Make sure you get a good workout in that day. Preferably strength training. It’ll have you blasting fat all day long.
2) Whatever you do, do NOT starve yourself all day long in anticipation of your big night out. That’s one of the worst things you can do.
3) If you’re having a chocolate craving - it is Valentine’s Day after all - you want to have some good dark chocolate on hand.

Here is a strange fun fact that caught my interest. I really enjoy learning about human development.

Finger Length and Financial Success
Look at your hand. Is your ring finger (the one next to your pinky) longer than your index finger? If so, congratulations! If not… well, don’t read any further.
Researchers from the University of Cambridge who studied male stock traders in London found that those with longer ring fingers tend to make more money (about five times more) than their counterparts with shorter ring fingers.
What does finger length have to do with financial success in the markets?
Here’s one possible explanation offered by the authors of the study: The length of those two fingers is determined during fetal development. And a longer ring finger indicates increased exposure to the male hormone androgen (testosterone). Androgen (testosterone) has been linked to increased confidence, persistence, heightened vigilance, and quick reaction times.
This “cutting-edge” research doesn’t tell us however, what effect education, background, experience, and hard work might have on an individual’s success as a trader. Because, you know, that would be silly.

Actually I find this report a little odd, since research I have previously looked at stated that the larger the difference between the length of the middle and ring fingers - the more testosterone. Pretty interesting stuff.
There is a reason few people reach their goals and make their dreams come true.
Know what that reason is?
It’s because they actually HAVE goals written down. The vast majority of people on this planet do not.
And not only do people that achieve goals actually set goals, they also create a a plan to make sure they make things happen.
So where does that leave you?
Do you keep telling yourself you are going to “lose some weight?” Or do you have specific goals and a plan to reach them?
Do you have a plan for what you’re going to eat each day so you’re not tempted to fill up on fast food? Do you have a deadline for when you’re going to reach your goal?
Here’s another one: you KNOW you need to be eating breakfast every day. Do you have nutritious food in the house you PLAN on eating each morning? How about a meal plan for fast fat loss?

FIT 2 FIGHT CANCER
My name is Kym and I am a cancer survivor.
I found out that I had cancer when I was pregnant with my second son. The doctors didn’t give me much time and were worried that I would lose my son also. I wasn’t able to do certain treatments due to being pregnant and I didn’t want to harm my baby, so the cancer just progressed even further. Amazingly though, I was able to carry him full term and was able to receive the treatment that I needed. After three surgeries in a two month period I was cancer free.
The months after the surgeries, I made the dumbest decision I could ever make- I started smoking again. I will tell you that I feel like an idiot now that I look back, but I’m not the only idiot out there. So many people do this and I want to help.
I continued to smoke for a while. It was helping me (so I thought) with my weight issue and my enormous stress increase. However, it was one day that changed everything for me. Read the rest of this entry »
